Pam Parsons serves as Senior Vice President of the Design and Construction Department where she is responsible for maximizing the value derived from capital expenditures for the entire Host Hotels & Resorts portfolio. This hotel portfolio consists of approximately 130 domestic and international full-service hotels primarily operated under brands such as Marriott, Westin, Sheraton, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, W, Four Seasons, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Fairmont, Embassy Suites, Swissôtel and Hilton, concentrating on the four and five star quality of properties. Pam is responsible for the execution of the Capital Expenditures Program, which includes evaluation, planning, and monitoring of design and construction projects.  She represents Host Hotels and Resorts with respect to hotel operations brand standards, engineering, purchasing, contract negotiations and design.  She also maintains a staff of Capex Directors and a large cadre of resources in the consulting and project management fields. Pam holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Science and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has professional status in the American Institute of Architects and the American Institute of Interior Design (ASID), and holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, (NCARB) certificate and a Real Estate license in the State of Maryland.
